Coleman was raised in the Lancashire town of Blackpool. Coleman was head of the class of Arnold School, Blackpool and was awarded straight A's on her A level. While discussing her Emmerdale appearance Coleman acknowledged she was regretting not going to the university. While at school Coleman was a member of a theater company named In Yer Space with whom she performed at the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. The show was awarded a prize to her for the performance, while the play was received well. When she was auditioning for drama schools, Coleman was offered the role as Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman received two nominations for prizes in 2007. She was named as the Best Newcomer of 2007 at British Soap Awards and Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. Coleman was awarded nominations in the categories of Best Actress, Sexiest Woman as well as Best Dramatic Performance at the British Soap Awards 2009. Coleman received a nomination for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who revealed in a news meeting held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman would take over the role of Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat picked her for the role due to how well she could work alongside Smith, and that she could speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been working in the world of entertainment since 1987. But, she's more known for TV projects instead of films. Eva was in a number of characters on TV, however two stand out in particular: The role of Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the character of Detective Natalia Boavistas which was in CSI Miami. It was the former that gave Eva two nominations for a Daytime Emmy. Also, she got to express her creative side by performing music. In addition to being an actor, Eva is also a philanthropist as well as an businesswoman. Her third husband is father of her daughter.
