Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American as well as a Canadian singer-songwriter. Her work has been released on over 20 albums. The songs of DiFranco are categorized as alternative rock and folk. But, they are influenced by jazz hip hop punk and the funk genre. Ani DiFranco, who is widely known as an icon of women's rights, and Grammy award-winning musician is widely regarded as the creator in DIY music. She was among the first artists to create their own labels in 1990. DiFranco was the child of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They were introduced in their school, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is of Italian descent and her mother comes from Montreal. Ani diFranco wrote and sang the song 32 Flavors. The song is featured on her album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995. This song appears on the film soundtrack for the Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate from 1999. DiFranco apologized for hosting a workshop in Louisiana on an old plantation for slaves. It was canceled, nevertheless, she showed no regret. DiFranco released a new apology three days later. While she has been known by the name of Little Folksinger, her music spans many styles and collaborations that range between Pete Seeger to Chuck D to Prince. Her home is New Orleans. Ani DiFranco has a relationship with Kristen Ford. In her teens, she began to write her own music. They were performed in bars and in coffee shops all through her teenage years. DiFranco began attending courses at Buffalo State College at age 16, after she graduated from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. The guitar is equipped with their System 600 preamp and has every solid wood available, including a cedar top mahogany back and sides and an fretboard made of ebony. After three decades of her career DiFranco confesses to having doubts about seeing herself in the rearview mirror.
