Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and acrobat. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". She is primarily an actor. Since she was 9 years older, she started dabbling into music. When she was 12 years old, music became seriously enough, that she started professionally trained. At 13, she began creating songs. The first time she recorded an album at 14 years old. From that moment on, she has never looked back. Orrantia has been born in the USA but has Hispanic origins. Her family has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English as a child and spent her entire life in the USA. To preserve her heritage, she's learned Spanish and has written songs that are in Spanish. "Hasta Verte," which she composed in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia received 4 "yeses" to the judges at the Seattle live audition stage after getting selected based on her YouTube entry. She originally auditioned solo, however, during "Hollywood Week" she was placed together with three female singers into a trio for the remaining auditions. Live shows were staged in the fifth week.
