Hayley Orantia is American actor, musician and performer. People are most familiar with the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. She believes that she is an artist first and foremost. Music has always been her first obsession. At the age of 12 years old, music was serious enough for her to begin professional training. She ventured into songwriting at 13, and she was just 14 when she released her debut album of covers songs. There hasn't been a turning to the past ever since. Orrantia was raised in the USA and yet she has Hispanic origins. Although she was raised speaking exclusively English and has never lived in Mexico she's very satisfied with her Hispanic roots. She endeavours to maintain it through studying Spanish and creating songs in the language. The most famous of these songs is "Hasta Verte," which she recorded in Spanish. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia got 4 "yeses" by the panel of judges on the Seattle live auditions after getting selected based on her YouTube video submission. The first time she auditioned, she was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. However, three other women singers and she were brought together for auditions of other tracks. The group was eliminated at the fifth week in the live show.
