Kari Kari Deanna DeannaKari Samantha Wuhrer (born in 1969) is an American actress who gained notoriety for her role in the show 'Sliders.' She is also the singer behind her first studio album "Shiny" in 1999. Wuhrer is from Connecticut started singing at a young age and began appearing in nightclubs as a teenager. She started studying acting at the Wooster school when she was 13 years old. Later, she enrolled at various universities to study drama. Her first screen appearance was the 1986 romance drama 'Fire With Fire.' She made her debut on a small screen in the role of an actress 5 years later as the recurring character Joanie in the sitcom of Fox "Married... with Children'. In her nearly more than three decades, she's earned about 80 credits in films and TV. Her appearances have been in many mainstream movies, but is considered by many to be the Queen of B-movies due to her large filmography. Also, she was a model and former MTV VJ. She took home the Best Actress Award in 2001 at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival and was the star of the film comedy Do It For Uncle Manny.
