Katie Lowes
Most well-known for her part on the massively famous ABC series "Scandal," actor Katie Lowes came into the world with nothing more than a simple passion for the stage. Born and living in Queens, New York, Lowes was a lively child who loved to act as well as sing to her friends and family. Lowes never lost her love for performance as an adult, like many other entertainers. Lowes became even more determined and focused on her art and enrolled in the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She would eventually prove herself with a starring role in a Tisch mainstage production of "Four Saints of Mexico" in 2002. She would then follow that with she graduated and entered the world of professional. Lowes was able to land some noteworthy roles, like a part in the pilot of the show "Rescue Me" (FX from 2004 to 2011), but for the major part, Lowes paid the bills at the beginning of her career as a nanny for the son of the actor Connie Britton. She was cast in a role that she immediately felt a connection to due to her actual middle name is Quinn. The show would make Lowes her a household name as well as persona, as well as introduce her to actor Adam Shapiro, whom she wed in June of 2012.
